July 11 - 12
Our beloved summer shot glass making event is back! We will be firing up our antique glass press once again on July 11th and 12th so that you may experience first hand the joy of early 20th century sweat-shop labor! For a modest fee, ($40), participants can work alongside our hot shop crew to produce colorful shot glasses the old-fashioned way! The fun starts Friday, July 11th, from noon until 5:00 and continues on Saturday, July 12th from 11:00-6:00. You’ll come away with several shot-glasses in the annealer and a deeper appreciation of air-conditioning.
It will be hot in the studio; dress accordingly,. Each participant may make three glasses. Cost is $40 per person, Items made during the event will be out of the annealing oven and available for pick-up the following day. All are welcome, we ask that children under the age of 13 be accompanied by an adult.
